A cross-up occurred on an overhead belt causing boards to fall to the ground below. An employee had completed his forklift pre-trip and just entered his bobcat when this occurred. Guarding was installed to prevent lumber from coming out of the conveyor, but a gap near the transition was overlooked and a board found its way through the gap.
