This training course provides a basic understanding of the methods, tools, and processes needed to conduct an incident investigation. Aligned with WorkSafeBC requirements, it is suitable for individuals such as Joint Committee members or Supervisors who may be required to complete incident investigations for forestry operations in BC.
This course is available in English only. Participants will receive a record of completion.

- Discuss the reasons for and value of conducting incident investigations
- Prepare for and conduct effective incident investigations
- Identify the causes of incidents
- Develop effective corrective actions
In-Person Course Duration & Delivery
One day of classroom-based training. The course consists of trainer-led activities, practical exercises and feedback throughout the day. Refreshments and lunch are included.
