Runaway Log Rolls Onto FSR

Crew was driving up the FSR when a chunk of log came speeding down the slope and off the cut bank of the road.  It hit the truck and caused damage to the front fender. Upon looking behind them, the crew noticed a buncher working within 30m of the road. It was impossible to see the buncher driving in due to the steep cut bank and trees.  No “active logging” sign had been posted before this area.  The first one was 1.14 kms further down the road.  Crew had been calling kms before reaching this area. Crew was able to reach the logging company once they saw the sign with the radio frequency and sorted everything out.
