Serious Near Miss-Piece of Edger Saw Ejected
A slab was caught between the guard and saw of the saw edger. While the edger shifted the saws to the next set; the saw was pushed against the slab causing the saw to break apart. The piece of saw exited the saw box through a gap in the guard, traveled through the wall of the sawmill landing onto the infeed chains of the
sharp chain. There were no injuries.
