A contractor and an employee were changing the bedplate on a planer. The contractor had the bedplate held up with dunnage and the employee was guiding the bedplate out when the dunnage slipped. The employee’s left fingers were pinched between the metal bedplate and the flat surface. The employee immediately pulled their hand from underneath the bedplate and reported to first aid.
