Two employees were performing a saw change for the Headrig bandsaw using a hoist in the filing room. The hoist was lifted, and Employee #1 began pulling the saw cradle towards themselves. Employee #1 then heard a loud noise, stopped operating the hoist and took a step backwards out of precaution.
