Changing Knives on Chipper
Two workers (a new worker and trainer) were changing knives on a chipper. The knife was not seated correctly and sprung out when bolt was being tightened down with an impact wrench. The knife struck the workers thumb and cut through Endura Level 4 cut resistant Kevlar gloves. The workers thumb was split through the end and halfway down to their first knuckle.
