This course will help prepare you to do workplace assessments using BC Forest Safety's assessment and training materials. Assessment checklists and training materials (online and printed) have been developed for specific yarding, harvesting, road building and other forestry occupations.
This course is also useful as an overview for competency based training and assessment systems.

Learning Outcomes
Completion of Assessor Knowledge Units that includes content from the following units:
- 1056 - Competency-based Training and Assessment
- 1057 - Assessment Attributes and Techniques
- 1058 - Planning Assessments
- 1059 - Conducting Assessments
- 1060 - Evidence Reviewing, Decision Making and Providing Feedback
- 1061 - Assessment Quality Assurance
Duration & Delivery
Allow approximately 1.5 hours to complete. This is an online course with self-paced, flexible 24/7 access and the expectation of participants completing the course within six months of enrollment.
