Large companies are not required to attend any SAFE Companies specific training as part of their initial certification process.  However, they do need to ensure that the external auditor undertaking their certification audit is certified by the BC Forest Safety Council.  Click here to find a list of the Council-approved external auditors.

Once a large company is certified, they will need to complete yearly maintenance audits.    Companies have the option of training internal auditors to do these audits, or hiring an external auditor.  Information on Internal Auditor training is available here.
