What do I need to do to become SAFE Certified?

Your size of company will determine what your company will need to do in order to be a SAFE Certified Company: If you are a small company (3-19 employees including dependent contactors):

  1. Register – upon registration, you will receive a  Safety Tool Kit
  2. Have one employee attend the Small Employer OHS Training.
  3. Using the employee that attended the course, conduct a self-administered SEBASE audit

If you are a large company (>20 employees incuding dependent contactors):

  1. Register  – upon registration, you will receive a  Safety Tool Kit
  2. Retain an External Auditor to conduct a BASE audit for your initial certification
