To be eligible for COR rebates, companies have to be in “good standing” with WSBC. In summary, this means a participating employer may be ineligible for COR rebate when any of the following conditions apply to the employer:
- Employer is engaged in activity which would cause WorkSafeBC to consider imposing , or has resulted in imposing, an administrative penalty;
- Employer has suppressed claims;
- Employer is in arrears in assessment payments;
- Employer is engaged in ‘other’ misconduct.
