Yes, a sample written health and safety policy is provided in hard copy and electronic version in the SAFE Companies Toolkit. Upon registering in SAFE Companies, all companies receive a Toolkit. The Toolkit is designed to help companies develop a health and safety program, or check that their program meets current industry safety standards.

The Toolkit has:

• A series of chapters, taking you through a step by step series of observations, decisions and actions.  For people starting off with no safety program, each chapter takes you a step closer to meeting your legal obligations to safety.
• Examples and sample forms and policies to help build your program and keep the records you need to demonstrate your ongoing safety activities.
• Pointers (web pages, library sources etc.) to help you find more details and keep up to date on legal requirements, industry safety updates and other important information.
