Canada’s National Forest Week, September 22-28, 2013

With a focus on the “Greenest” workforce this year, Canada’s National Forest Week serves to remind all Canadians of the importance of our forests – from employment opportunities and economic well-being through to clean air, sustainable communities, and unparalleled recreation and enjoyment opportunities.

At BC Forest Safety Council we celebrate forestry workers this week. Thank you for working to make the forests a safe place to work and inspiring others around you to work injury free. We believe forestry’s long-term success depends on securing excellence in health and safety for everyone in our forests.

Wishing you a Great, Safe National Forest Week!
