Details of Incident / Close Call: 

A supervisor was walking on a processed deck of Cut-To-Length logs when one measuring 15” in diameter rolled onto his right foot.

The supervisor’s foot was pinned under the log for approximately two minutes, until he was able to pry the steel toed boot from underneath.

No injuries were suffered.

Learnings and Suggestions: 

• Never walk on decks of logs

• Always wear steel toed boots
