Hook tender was pulling on a choker when he felt a sharp pain in his left wrist. This incident was originally reported as a first aid.

The next day the worker had signs of a musculoskeletal injury. He reported to medical aid, returned to work and is now participating in light duty activities.

Learnings and Suggestions: 

Ensure workers working in phases that have a high level of MSI injury know the signs and symptoms of MSI’s and participate in correct ergonomics when conducting their work.
