Details of Incident / Close Call: 

A worker was driving a loaded logging truck out of the bush on a forestry road under winter conditions. The logging truck traveled into the corner, which appeared to be under plowed on the outside edge however, tracks from other trucks cut to the inside. The truck (jeep configuration) could not get out enough for the trailer to track on the road. The trailer slipped off the road and into the ditch. The worker was not harmed. Some damage to the trailer was sustained.

Note: Other truck drivers suspected the road was narrowing and began moving inwards on the corner. This particular hazard was not communicated to their Supervisor(s).

Learnings and Suggestions: 

Truck drivers that suspect a potential hazard must communicate this hazard to other drivers operating on the road system and supervisor(s). Corrective actions was to re-establish outer edge of road via snow plowing.
