Details of Incident / Close Call:

A DNT Low bed pulled into a wide spot to clear a loaded logging truck at 112.5Km on the teardrop (100 road). It was early in the morining and still dark, while stopping in the dark the low bed trailer slid across the road. At the time the Low bed operator did not know this had happened. When he saw lights coming he turned on his back up lights, he noticed in his mirror that his trailer was across the road, he tried to drive ahead to get the trailer off the road but it was too late. The results were no damage to the low bed but the loaded truck needed to be unloaded and towed to town, no one was hurt.

Learnings and Suggestions:

Told operator to pay attention to low bed when he pulls into a pull out.
Make sure you give yourself lots of time to clear loaded trucks
