Two field workers were working together doing timber evaluations / stand
reconnaissance in approx. .3m of snow at an elevation of 550m when they came across
fresh bear tracks in the snow, leading away from where they were working. 

 

Learnings and Suggestions: 

Field crew reviewed there PPE equipment (bear spray/bear bangers) remained in close proximity with each other, and made sure to make as much noise as possible, as they left the area.

First sighting of a bear for this year.
