Using a snowmobile for the first time this winter, the snowmobile quit and refused to startagain, one km. from the main road. Employees had to walk out of the bush before nightfall, pulling it out with the pickup, and loading it manually.

Learnings and Suggestions: 

1/ Before taking them to the bush,have snowmobile and other machines serviced and tested before taking them to the bush.

2/ Store machines properly at the end of the season, and add gasoline stabilizer.

3/ Have emergency provisions, flares and fire starter issued for each team, in case you are stranded in the forest overnight.
