Tips for Submitting a Good SEBASE Audit

For small employers, assembling your SEBASE audit is the last step to certification.

SEBASE Audits contain a lot of information and to help you easily put it all together to ensure that you don’t miss anything and in a way that the Quality Assurance Review Team can easily find the required documentation, here are a few good tips for submitting a well put together SEBASE Audit:

The Presentation

  • Information contained within a binder.
  • Title of company and audit type on binder cover
  • Sections or Questions of Audit separated by labeled or colour coded tabs
  • Table of Contents would be useful

The Content

  • Complete SEBASE Audit document with scoring and Scoring Summary
  • Complete Company Profile Sheet
  • All documentation required by the Audit questions and guidelines:
  • Documents should be photocopies, not originals
  • Some documentation can be used for more than one question. If this is the case please clearly note for each relevant question where this document is, or copy it more than once
  • All documentation should be current and within the previous 12 months only
  • Completed Worker Interview Contact List (please inform all employees if they have been listed)
  • Names
  • Job titles
  • Phone numbers
  • Best time to call
  • Complete Corrective Log
  • Completed Declaration of Dependant Contractors form (if applicable)
  • Complete Documentation Checklist
