 A loaded log truck rolled over on a public road. The conventional pole log truck was negotiating a sharp turn, on a paved road, when rear bunk became bound.

 A loaded logging truck encountered an oncoming vehicle operating in the log trucks lane. In an attempt to avoid a collision with this vehicle, the truck driver steered the truck over to the side of the road, this resulted in the pup trailer wheels of the loaded truck going off of a steep edge of the road, this then caused the trailer and truck to roll over in the ditch.

A loaded short log truck was attempting to make an extreme right angle turn onto a mainline road and in the process tipped the trailer and tractor on its side into the ditch.

 At approximately 7:00 pm two electrical  workers were trying to determine the source of a major power outage ( due to a severe winter storm ) by tracing a high voltage power line running parallel to a relatively remote industrial road.  Workers stopped at a gate to gain access to the road - one worker moved the 4WD pickup truck forward through the gate while the second worker went to close the gate. The first  worker (vehicle driver) placed the vehicle in "park" and then slid over to the passenger side. The vehicle rolled back striking the heavy steel gate driving the*/** gate into the chest of the second worker.  Worker sustained serious multiple injuries and was transported by ambulance to hospital.

A young worker was performing clean-up duties in the sawmill when his leg became caught between a floor sweep bar and the tail-end shaft, resulting in a serious injury to the worker's leg.

(The floor sweep bar is a 17' long 4"x6" bar that slowly rotates around on a chain and sprocket system.)

 While positioning the grapple skidder to pick up a drag of logs on a 15% sloped hillside, the operator high centered his machine on several large boulders. As he tried to clear the boulders the skidder slid off them and over turned down-slope 3 to 4 times.

 A worker was found lying on a forest road after his empty logging truck rolled into a nearby embankment. It appears that the worker was adjusting his brakes when the truck rolled over him.

 Two logging skidders were pulling and pushing a loaded super B train to bring it out of the loading area up a hill and onto the main logging haul road. As they proceeded down the haul road the trucks trailers slid to the left where the roadway shoulder collapsed under the pups driver side and the whole unit slid into a four foot deep ditch. The trailers and the truck then turned over on their side.

 An empty logging truck was travelling eastbound.  Highway conditions were poor with wet, heavy slush accumulations. A westbound semi-trailer, loaded with steel pipe was approaching the oncoming logging truck. The semi-trailer of the truck transporting pipe slid across the centre line, blocking the opposite lane.  The logging truck collided with the semi-trailer causing extensive damage.

 A heli-hooktender was moving towards a safe zone after hooking a turn to the helicopter's load hook.  A large cull-log (2' diameter, 14' long), possibly dislodged by rotor wash, rolled downhill crushing the worker. Thawing ground conditions may have contributed to the incident.

 A helicopter was in the process of picking up two logging engineers in an area that did not have a helicopter pad for access and egress. The helicopter was using a method called "tow-ins" to pick up the two workers. While in the process of picking up the workers the helicopter skids lost contact with the ground. The helicopter then gained altitude and rotated 360 degrees, contacting some small trees and crashed.

The driver steered the truck into a wide spot above a steep switchback and jumped from the truck. The truck stopped 1 truck length off the road. The truck had extensive damage to the undercarriage from stumps on the road side. The bullboard protected the cab from serious damage.
